California law does not allow an employer to take away (use-it-or-lose-it) vacation days or personal time off because an employee did not use up all of the time by the end of the year. These policies are illegal in California.

When an employee leaves a job in California, an employer must timely pay for all accrued vacation time and personal time, along with all other wages, compensation, hours, and/or salary.

The Hamideh Firm, P.C. represents California workers in class action cases throughout California. If you feel you have not been paid accrued and earned vacation time and/or personal time, do not hesitate to contact us online or at (310) 556-9687 for a free consultation and case evaluation.
